I got Black Ice this year and it is blooming in its first season. It opens as a lovely, dark velvet kind of deep red. Now that the hottest part of summer is over, it has started to bloom more frequently. After a few days, it opens fully to reveal bright yellow anthers. Every stage looks lovely.

I received this rose in he heat of West Texas summer. It has probably tripled in size and bloomed multiple times. It has 3 blooms on it right now. Beautiful color. Great healthy rose!
