Just got this baby this year, and he has been very healthy! Can’t wait to see his blooms in spring!

One of my favorite yellow roses! It’s a beast and grows vigorously.

This is one incredibly TOUGH plant! First he was incredibly damaged in shipping (and immediately replaced) with the main can’t split down the middle. Being fond of experimenting, I grabbed the nearest tape (scotch tape 🤪) and taped the cane together. It did then grow in its pot on my kitchen window rack. I learned I needed surgery, and Graham was growing rapidly- too much for me to be able to leave him inside for the weeks and weeks of surgical recovery. So he got planted out, still taped together btw, in early February in zone 6. (Still most nights in the teens and twenties) I mulched up about 8 inches and told Graham he was going to need to be tough. And wow is he!! He grew all year and has beautiful, rich buttery golden blooms that smell heavenly. He’s shown excellent cold tolerance, heat tolerance, no disease at all, rebounded from grasshopper damage, and is not even on drip yet- so watering was not super consistent (in our dry high desert garden this is huge).
This is a tough, gorgeous rose.
